4/10/2020 - Good Friday
A common question is, "Why do we call it Good Friday?"
The name "Good Friday" is a bit archaic. Good is supposed to mean "holy," so the proper sense of the name is "Holy Friday" - which is what it is often called in other languages. But other names include:
Long Friday
High (as in high-holy) Friday
Great Friday
Silent Friday
Crucified Friday
Friday of Preparation
Friday of the Passion of the Lord
